I’m Travis, an illustrator, book reader and a connoisseur of the weird, living in Mississauga, Canada.
I’ve always loved drawing and telling stories throughout my life. So one day after spending many a late night working on tedious advertising campaigns, I realised why not use my remaining creative energy for something I genuinely care about - telling stories.
Thus Numinosity Comics was born.
ABOUT NUMINOSITY
Numinosity is an anthology of illustrated short stories that explore the supernatural and horrifying. “Numinosity” comes from the word “numinous”, which amongst other things, refers to the mysterious and awe-inspiring.
The project takes inspiration from sci-fi, Lovecraft-ian horror and dark fantasy with many other genres sprinkled in between. A great many books, graphic novels and comics have influenced this project but if I were to name one, it would have to be Heavy Metal magazine.
